Odisha rowers reaped righ haul of eight medals to finish overall third at the 38th Senior National and 22nd Open Sprint National Rowing Championships, which were held at Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad (Telangana) from 2 to 7 December, 2019. The eight medals included three gold and five silver.
In the Senior National Championship, Odisha won four silver medals to finished overall fourth. Odisha finished overall runners-up in the Open Sprint National Championship, bagging three gold and one silver. Sanjukta Dung Dung was most successful among Odisha rowers, capturing two gold and one silver.

Dec 5: Sanjukta Dung Dung, Silver medal in womens single scull (9:31.9).
Dec 5: Pramila Prava Minz and Manjula Xess, Silver medal in womens pair (9:11.2).
Dec 5: Sonalika Das and Kushpreet Kaur Brar, Silver medal in womens double scull (8:55.5).
Dec 5: Kamla Lakra, Manisha Kispotta, Harnoon Sidhu and Sobita Soreng, Silver medal in womens coxless four (8:23.6).
22nd Open Sprint National Rowing Championship (500m):
Dec 7: Sanjukta Dung Dung, Gold medal in womens single scull (1:59.53).
Dec 7: Pramila Prava Minz and Manjula Xess, Gold medal in womens pair (1:53.48).
Dec 7: Sonalika Das and Kushpreet Kaur Brar, Silver medal in womens double scull (1:57.13).
Dec 7: Karanbir Singh Bhinder, Jobin MD, Sanjukta Dung Dung and G Geetanjali, Gold medal in mixed double scull (1:40.79).
